PRESENTATION AND HISTORY

Céntimos Solidarios, ONGD

PRESENTATION

Céntimos Solidarios is an NGO dedicated to development cooperation, registered in the Register of State-run Foundations under number 2144. Its registration entails recognition of the general interest of its purposes..

We are a group of people with an awareness of inequality and injustice, actively engaged in the task of transforming that reality. Our mission and ideal is the eradication of poverty and the fight against inequality and injustice.

Céntimos Solidarios
is distinguished by two clearly defining features:

  1. FOR US, EVERY “SPARE” PENNY IS VALUABLE
We highlight the importance of pennies as a “low value” asset in our society, but that offers great potential for development aid for impoverished societies. We intend to build solidarity bridges between the North and the South, by way of communicating vessels, through the contribution of pennies.
  2. 100% WILL BE WILL BE FULLY INVESTED INTO EACH PROJECT
The funds obtained are fully invested in the implementation of development cooperation operations that we will be conducting.

HISTORY

Céntimos Solidarios emerged from the founder of our Organisation’s commitment to those most disadvantaged. This commitment, which since 1998 has focused on tasks of volunteering and economic cooperation, has taken shape in the creation of its own Foundation.

The existence of a benefactor, who assumes full coverage of the expenses arising from the proper functioning of the Organization, allows all donations to reach projects developmental.

We, the other members of the Trust, feel the same commitment. We are united by the same ideal.
